Textures

SYNOPSIS

Textures is a 360º stage proposal designed for children aged 2 to 5 and their families. Focusing on how babies discover the world, La Curiosa creates a space where textures can be explored visually, sonically, and tactilely. The stage is set on a 5x5 meter white linoleum floor, around which the audience sits, and onto which images are projected live using overhead projectors. Music and movement continuously interact with the visuals.

La Curiosa company embraces an interdisciplinary language where visual arts, plastic arts, and music interact on stage in an intimate, close setting. This language is the essence of the company and the thread that runs through their performances. A universal language that allows them to communicate without linguistic or cultural barriers, focusing on the sensitivity and innate curiosity of human beings.

The Textures show is co-produced by La Curiosa, laSala, Festival elPetit, and FiM, the fair for emerging and family music in Vila-seca, with the collaboration of ICEC (Catalan Institute for Cultural Enterprises).
