SYNOPSIS
BasarKus has two heads, many arms, and several legs. It has always been that way. He is happy playing the guitar with four hands, jumping, and juggling everywhere. But upon discovering that he has two hearts, he fearfully asks the question: "Am I one or two? If I am two, who am I?"
If they are two, they seem to be united for life! Like glued together, inseparable and indivisible... Stronger, more. Together, as two!
But driven by a furious curiosity, they will try to separate. It is the scariest and most exciting thing they have ever done. Now, their games consist of overcoming their fears and experiencing separation at all costs. During their adventures, they discover who they are and what they are truly capable of, on their own.
The fabulous story of BasarKus is a virtuosic immersion into the universe created by the two artists on stage: Markus in juggling and Basil in acrobatics. Throughout the journey, they continuously build bridges between their arts and push the dialogue to the limit. The search for identity and the notion of hybridism are at the heart of this story. Where does my body begin and end? Who is this other self? How do I accept it? These are the questions that build this ode to self-discovery.
