INBALANCEIN

Based on the innate drive of creatures to move, discover and experience without fear, this creation proposes a scenic situation that focuses on balance. The show is divided into two parts: MirAMirA, in which two balancing and dance specialists set up structures with foam blocks of different sizes and shapes, and MOuMOu, in which children are invited to participate. The common thread will be an imaginative narrative by a speaker, a way to recover this popular and universal tradition.

The dancer, performer and choreographer Sònia Gómez, trained at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and the P.A.R.T.S school in Belgium, has been working since 2004 on projects whose thematic axes are the construction of identity, but also the discovery of certain social impostures with art and the impostures of art through the body and performance. The last time we saw her at Mercat de les Flors was with “The black body, the blue mind and the fluorescent guts” in October 2021. Now she is back with a piece for the younger audience.
