Let's play!
The international festival elPetit celebrates 20 years of history by bringing live arts to early childhood and highlighting the importance of experiencing artistic moments in the first years of life. From November 9 to 24, 2024, the elPetit Festival will fill the spaces of 13 cities with some of the best international and national proposals for the youngest audience.
In this special edition, elPetit is characterized by a wide program of high-quality immersive experiences, innovative, focused on contemporary languages, and committed to emerging talent. Artistic meeting spaces that reclaim play as a safe space, where one can create, imagine, take risks, and develop freely. Play is an essential element for the cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children. Through play, children explore the world around them, express themselves, and build relationships. The festival values this fundamental tool, offering over thirty artistic proposals that foster curiosity and free exploration.
But elPetit is much more than an Arts Festival. It is also a space for research, training, dialogue, and networking. Within the framework of the IX International Encounter of Arts for Early Childhood (Nov. 14-17), elPetit organizes an open gathering for artists and professionals from the fields of culture, education, health, and social action, which includes lectures by key figures in the sector, debates, and workshops. A broad perspective to address the current and future situation of Arts in Early Childhood, with special emphasis on the sector's evolution over the past two decades.
This November, we invite you to explore the universe of elPetit through play. The festival keys open the doors to creativity and imagination, a unique opportunity to discover and share exceptional artistic meeting spaces, and to jointly celebrate 20 years of live arts, innovation, and commitment to early childhood.
We look forward to seeing you!
